14k Yellow Gold Triple SNAKE Ring w 22k Indian Head Coin. 1" + 18g

For sale is a 14k yellow gold ring with three snakes coiled around a 22k gold coin. This antique ring is SPECTACULAR.  This mama snake has a 22k gold Indian Head 2 1/2 dollar coin set in the back of her head.  Her baby snakes coil around her, protecting their treasure.  The 22k gold coin is a genuine 1914 American "Indian Head" 2 1/2 dollar gold piece.  (These coins sell for about $1000.). The ring is formed from a large snake, and the coin is bezel-set in the back of the snake's head.  Two smaller snakes (her babies?) wind around their mama, their heads curving up over the gold coin.  The band of the ring is made from the intertwined bodies and tails of this nest of snakes.  Each snake's body is engraved with an intricate pattern of scales.  Each snake has a carefully carved face with almond shaped eyes.  I have never seen a ring like this before.  It is stunning worn by anyone, male or female.  A true statement piece, and a piece of history!

**The coin can turn in the bezel, but is secure and will not fall out.
