14k Gold Cat and the Fiddle w Diamond Pendant. Nursery Rhyme. TINY!

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant featuring a tiny cat playing a fiddle with a diamond. Based on the old nursery rhyme:

Hey Diddle Diddle, the Cat and the Fiddle,

The Cow jumped over the moon. 

The little dog laughed to see such sport,

and the dish ran away with the spoon!

This antique pendant is charming and romantic.  I had my jeweler convert it to a pendant from a stick pin so it would be worn and enjoyed.  The pendant features a wee kitty standing on her hind paws and playing her violin.  A tiny, sparkly diamond is set in the curve at the end of her tail.  The diamond is secure in prong-settings.  The musical feline's tiny facial features, ears, tail and fur are all delicately detailed.  Her bow and violin are rendered accurately, and she holds them correctly in her tiny paws. The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.  This pendant is sweet and simple worn on its own, and can be layered with other antique antique pendants and charms for a different look.  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
