14k Yellow Gold Turquoise Honey Bee + Hive Pendant. 1". Antique

For sale is a 14k yellow gold yellow gold pendant with a turquoise honey bee on her bee hive.  This sweet antique pendant is beautifully crafted!  The bee-hive is made from gold mesh, with interlocking links like chain mail.  It is hollow and quite sturdy.  The bottom of the bee hive is a lovely filigree circle made from nested gold wire.  The honey-bee rests protectively on the front of her hive.  Her head and wings are decorated with gold wire, and are raised above the surface of the bee hive.  Her abdomen is made from a round turquoise gemstone in the classic shade of robins egg blue.  The tiny gemstone is secure in a bezel-setting.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This antique pendant is stunning worn alone, and is also fun to layer with other pendants.

**The bee-hive has some dents and dings that are noticeable upon magnification.  Please view the magnified photos.  The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
