Each earring features a small oval opal that is semi-translucent with vivid flashes of colorful fire. As you move the opal in the light, you will see a lively play of lime green, cherry red, purple, orange, and blue fire. Each opal is secure in a hand-crafted prong setting. Each opal is set inside a scalloped gold frame made of gold with a twisted rope design. The frame looks like the petals of a flower. The earrings fasten securely with solid gold butterfly backs. These classic opal earrings are small, with fabulous play of color.
