For sale is a 14k yellow gold large oval pendant with Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  This quartz is a milky shade of off-white with bright burnished 24k gold flakes. The quartz is exceptionally large at 1.5 inches in size. It is cut in a large, flat oval.  The surface of the quartz is slightly rough.  It has not been polished completely smooth in order to preserve the 24k gold embedded in the quartz.  The quartz is bezel-set in gold.  It is framed in a hand-crafted 14k gold setting with a twisted rope design.  The back of the gemstone is visible from the back side of the pendant. The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain. This unusually large pendant could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.
