For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold ALASKAN GOLD in QUARTZ leverback Earrings.  These classically styled earrings were crafted by the respected US jewelery company, Carla Jewelry.  Each earring features a slightly domed oval gold quartz gemstone that is inlaid in gold and framed with twisted gold rope.  Each earring has a trio of gold Bali beads set below the gemstone.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  These quartz earrings are a creamy shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold veins covering 40% - 50% of the surface of each gemstone.  The earrings fasten with leverbacks that snap crisply open and closed.
