For sale is a 14k yellow gold Alaskan Gold in Quartz BEAR pendant.  This hand-crafted pendant has clean lines and simple elegance.  The pendant features a flat gold bear-shaped quartz gemstone that is inlaid in a thick gold setting.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  This bear-shaped quartz pendant is a creamy shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold veins covering 25-30% of the surface of the gemstone.  The pendant is completely backed in gold with a hash-mark texture.  This pendant is lovely, and is rarely found on ebay!
