For sale is a 14k yellow gold heart pendant with Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  This quartz is a creamy shade of white with exceptionally wide, bright, burnished 24k gold veins. The quartz itself is cut in a large slightly domed heart shape, and is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting. The quartz is set in a thick gold frame.  The pendant is backed in gold and the quartz is not visible from the back of the pendant.  The pendant has a large articulated bail.  This pendant is classic, elegant and beautifully crafted to last many lifetimes.  It can be combined beautifully with diamond and pearl jewelry.
