14k Yellow Gold Bezel & 925 Moonstone Ring. Danish *Video*

For sale is a sterling silver ring with a rainbow moonstone in a 14k yellow gold bezel.  This ring was made by a Danish jewelry designer in the modern tradition, and has a wonderful sculptural quality.  The ring is a wide cigar band made of sterling silver that narrows in the back.  The moonstone is a large oval cabochon set east-west in the widest part of the band.  The moonstone has exceptional adularescence, the eerie blue glow that makes these stones so magical.  This ring has a peacock blue glow that is almost neon in its brightness.  It also has purple, which I have never seen in a moonstone before.  The moonstone is secure in a thick solid gold bezel setting.  This ring would be attractive worn by either a man or a woman. 

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
