14k Yellow Gold + Sterling PENGUIN Pendant. Sapphire Eye. 1.25"

For sale is a sterling silver penguin pendant with an inlaid 14k yellow gold belly and a blue sapphire eye.  This large, heavy pendant is beautifully crafted like a little sculpture.  The penguin stands with her wings at a slightly awkward angle and her head turned slightly to one side.  Her little toes are slightly scaly, and her feathers are textured.  Her well-fed, ample belly is made of a solid gold oval that is slightly domed.  The 14k gold oval is seamlessly inlaid in the silver pendant.  The pendant has a hidden bail in back to accommodate your gold or silver chain.  The silver part of the pendant is stamped "Sterling" and her gold belly is stamped "14k."  This pendant is one of a kind.  I had my jeweler convert it from an antique brooch.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
