For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold antique earrings with Australian jelly opals.  These translucent earrings are ethereal, magical and truly spectacular. The round, cabochon opals are completely translucent, and spots and swatches of vibrant color wash through each opal as you turn it in the light.  The opals are unusually colorful with an extraordinary amount of cherry red, lime green, orange and yellow fire.  You will even see peacock blue and purple in bright light!  These opals are more subtle in dim light, and come roaring to colorful life in the sunlight.  The opals are well matched in color, and have slightly different shape and size.  One opal is slightly smaller than the other.  The opals  are secure in antique claw prong settings. The opals are suspended from 14k shepherd's hooks.  These earrings are like drops of pure sunshine!
