14k Gold Cabochon Blue Sapphire Ring w Pave Rose-Cut Diamond Halo

For sale is a 14k yellow gold ring with natural blue sapphire and diamonds. This Victorian era antique is simply stupendous! The dark blue cabochon sapphire sits at the center of a shield surrounded by a halo of hand-cut rose-cut diamonds that are pave set in yellow gold. The halo contains an inner ring of smaller diamonds and an outer ring of slightly larger diamonds. The diamonds are all securely bezel set. The sapphire is in good condition for its age (some scuffs are visible under magnification - see photos). The ring is currently very small but can be resized by your jeweler. This well-crafted ring truly evokes the elegance and romance of an era long gone by.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
