14k White Gold Sparrow Bird + 1" Filigree Circle Pendant. 1920s

For sale is a 10k white gold filigree circle pendant with a tiny bird.  I had my jeweler convert this pendant from an antique Art Deco era pin so it would be worn and enjoyed.  This beautifully crafted pendant is intricately detailed.  The pendant features a tiny sparrow perched on a vine with curving, three dimensional leaves.  The tiny bird is rendered in exquisite detail, from her sharp beak and split tail to the delicately textured feathers of her wings.  Mrs. Swallow has a teeny tiny garnet eye that is securely channel set.  The vine winds around the outer circle of the pendant, which is decorated with gold wire in a zig zag filigree pattern.   The pendant is suspended from a jump ring bail to accommodate your chain.  This is a sweet, romantic pendant with loads of wonderful old-world charm.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
