14k Gold Filled "Wells" Australian Opal Dangle Antique Earrings. Tiny! *Video*

For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold filled earrings with old fashioned Australian white opals.  These antique earrings were made by the respected USA based "Wells" jewelry company that specialized in gold-filled jewelery.  14k Gold-filled jewelry has a specific definition in the jewelry industry.  To be stamped "14 GF," at least 1/20th or 5% of the weight of the metal must be 14k gold.  Each earring features an oval opal dangling from a round gold stud.  A three-lobed leaf decorates the bottom of each opal. The old-fashioned white Australian opals are opaque milky white with flashes of orange and green fire in bright light.  They are quite subtle, and will appear milky white in dim light.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
