14k Gold Australian Boulder Opal Teardrop Pendant w Diamond *VIDEO*

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with an Australian Koroit boulder opal and natural diamonds.  This opal was mined in the Koroit opal fields in south west Queensland, Australia.  This small teardrop opal has lovely dark brown matrix with a fascinating pattern of opalescence.  Tiny flecks of purple, blue and violet opalescent fire crackle over the entire surface of this striking opal.  The lower left part of the opal dazzles with a vibrant swirl of rainbow opalescence.  This patch of fire swirls up and over like the crest of an ocean wave.  The opal is secure in a 14k bezel setting.  Two small round diamonds are set beneath the opal.  The diamonds are sparkly and eye-clear.  Each diamond is securely prong-set.  The pendant has an attached rabbit ear bail to accommodate your chain.  The opal is entirely backed in gold.  The gold on the back of the opal has deep grooves (for some unknown reason) that do not effect the opal or the pendant.   This custom made pendant is one-of-a-kind and absolutely perfect for those who love  the dramatic magic of boulder opals, and also have a weakness for the sparkle of diamonds :)
