10k Alaskan Gold in Quartz Arrowhead Watch Fob Pendant. 1.5" *Video*

For sale is a 14k yellow gold large carved Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz arrowhead shape pendant.  This unusual antique pendant was originally used as a fob or ornament for a gentleman's gold pocket watch.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore embedded in it. This quartz is a milky shade of off-white with bright burnished flakes of 24k gold sprinkled over the surface. The quartz is exceptionally large at over 1.5 inches in size. It is cut in a large, domed, arrowhead shape.  The surface of the quartz has small pits in a few places (please see magnified photos.)  The quartz is set in a hand-crafted frame and is topped in a thick gold cap.  The cap has an attached bail to accommodate your chain. This unusually large pendant could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.
