14k Gold Winged Angel Ship Figurehead Oval Hoop Earrings 1.25" + 9g

For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold large, oval hoop earrings with ship's figurehead angels. These earrings are stunning reproductions of antique earrings made by the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, NY.  Each earring is a slightly triangular oval, with a winged angel or fairy on the front. The angels are beautifully crafted, with intricate detail.  Each angel faces bravely forwards, with wings outstretched and head held high.   

The earrings fasten securely with a gold wire that slips into a hole in the back of the angels' head. These large earrings are elegant and eye-catching. They look just as stunning worn with jeans and sneakers as they look with a maxi-dress and heels. I have never seen a pair like these on ebay in over a decade of buying and selling.
