14k & 925 Australian Blue Green Black Opal Pendant *Video*

For sale is an Australian black opal pendant in sterling silver with 14k yellow gold accents.  This is a large, unusual and vibrantly colorful opal.  The opal has exceptional color.  Although it contains myriad shades, the opal is primarily peacock blue and turquoise or teal.  This opal maintains its vibrance even in dim light.  The colors are so rich it's almost hard to process.  The opal has dark gray to black matrix, which appears as an archepelago of little islands in the sea of blue green iridescence.  The opal is securely set in a hand-crafted silver bezel mounting and backed in silver. The silver mounting is accented with a 14k gold wire bail and some gold wire decorations.  This is an otherworldly, fascinating opal pendant. It has the calming, cool, ever-shifting beauty of a quiet ocean on clear day.  It could be worn beautifully by a man or a woman.

**The pendant has some resin on the back where I had the pin removed.  I decided not to remove the resin because I do not want to take the risk of any damage to this gorgeous opal.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
