10k Gold Carved Onyx & Pearl Flower Bouquet MOURNING Pendant

For sale is a 10k yellow rose gold onyx flower pendant with tiny seed pearls.  I had my jeweler convert this Victorian era antique pendant  from a pin so it would be worn and enjoyed. The original mourning pin was traditionally worn by widows or mothers who lost children to signal their grief and loss.  The pendant features four black onyx violets that are beautifully carved with three dimensional petals.  Each flower has a  tiny round seed pearl at the center.  Each pearl is bezel set and edged in delicate milgrain gold. Each flower has a curved gold stem, and the stems are gathered into a bouquet tied with a rope. This pendant has a 14k bail to accommodate your chain.  This beautifully crafted, eye-catching pendant combines beautifully with other Victorian pieces, especially with diamond, garnet, cameo, and pearl jewelry.  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
