14k Yellow Gold Sleeping Baby Infant Pendant. 1"

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant featuring a sleeping infant.  This unusual pendant is beautifully detailed. The baby is shown at rest in the fetal position.  The artist has rendered this infant with such sweetness and love!  The child has the lovely egg shape to his/her head that so many babies have.  Her chubby knees are pulled up close to her body, and her hands are close to her mouth, as if she might suck her thumb.  If you look closely you can see the delicate features of her face.  Her wisps of hair and her teeny ear are also carefully detailed.  She wears her old-fashioned cloth diaper with an engraved diaper pin. The pendant is flat on the back.  It has an articulated jump ring bail to accommodate your chain.  This pendant conjures up such clear memories of babies you have held and loved!  You can almost smell the sweet baby smell :).  Perfect for a new mama or grandma.
