14k White Gold Antique Forget-Me-Not Filigree Ring

For sale is a 14k white gold filigree prasiolite ring with tiny enamel "forget-me-not" flowers.   Forget-me-nots were a classic symbol of faithful and enduring love during the Victorian era.  The signet style ring features a large faceted oval prasiolite gemstone.  Prasiolite, also known as green amethyst, is translucent with a delicate shade of pale green.  This gemstone shows wear to the facets and the buyer may prefer to replace it. The gemstone is bezel set and set in an engraved gold frame.  The frame features sprinkles of tiny periwinkle blue enamel forget-me-not posies at the top and bottom.  Each shoulder of the ring is also decorated with a sprinkling of forget-me-nots.  The enamel shows wear in some places (see magnified photos.)  The white gold ring mounting is made of the most delicate and intricate filigree, like a spiderweb.  This sweet, romantic ring is currently size 4.5, but could easily be resized by your jeweler at a reasonable cost.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
