9k-10k Yellow Gold Onyx Water Bearer Aquarius Signet Ring. 0.5"

For sale is a 9k-10k yellow gold Water Bearer ring with onyx.  This ring is unusual and well-crafted.   The ring is a large signet style ring.  The front of the ring features a large rounded rectangle of black onyx that is bezel set in yellow gold.  The front of the onyx is set with a large raised gold figure of the water bearer as she pours water from her jug.   The astrological symbol for the Aquarius sign, this image is beautifully carved.  The young maiden wears a full skirt and bends her head slightly to her task.  The gold figure is raised slightly above the level of the onyx.  Simple and elegant.  Perfect for a man or a woman.  

***I label this ring 9k - 10k gold because although it is stamped "375" for 9k gold, I cannot test for 9k.  However, the ring tests positive for 10k.  9k is the typical gold sold in Great Britain and Australia, just like 14k is typical in the USA.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
