14k Yellow Gold MERMAID Sea Nymph Pendant. Articulated Tail

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant featuring a mermaid with an articulated tail.  This antique pendant is beautifully crafted and compelling.  You want to hold her, and move her tail!  This is not an impish Disney nymph, nor a seductive siren.  Perhaps this is the queen ruler over all mermaids!  She carries herself with regal elegance and gravity.   Her facial expression is serious, and she holds her arms in a self-protective pose.  Her tail is jointed in multiple places, and can move back and forth as if to propel her through the waves. Each segment of her tail is edged in curving scallops and engraved with texture.  Her long hair cascades over her shoulders and down her back.  This mermaid is strong and powerful.  The mermaid has a bail to accommodate your chain.  This striking antique mermaid queen is a beautifully made pendant that would look lovely by itself, or layered with other necklaces or pendants.
