10k Yellow Gold Zodiac Cancer Mayan Aztec Calendar SUN Pendant. 2-Sided

For sale is a 10k yellow gold 2-sided pendant with a cancer/crab on one side and an Aztec / Mayan calendar on the other side.  This large, medallion-style pendant is beautifully crafted and stunning.  The pendant has gorgeous designs on both the front and back.  Both designs are crafted from raised gold.  The cancer crab is fully detailed with 8 rear legs and pincer arms raised above her head.  Her shell is textured and her claws are quite sharp and menacing.   The Aztec calendar on the reverse side of the pendant is equally attractive, with intricate, lovely details of the sun and the symbols that ring the sun in nested circles.  The pendant is set in a bail that is made of yellow gold with a slightly rose hue.   The pendant has a large articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This medallion would be attractive on a man or a woman.  This pendant is extremely versatile.  It is an excellent gift (or self-gift!) to astrologically interested people, Cancers, or anyone who loves the intricate, ancient beauty of the Mayan calendar.  

**There is a "ding" or indented mark on the bezel-frame.  The dent is most apparent on the side of the pendant with the Aztec calendar.  It is present, but less detectable on the reverse side.  Please see final photo for magnified view.
