14k Gold Carved Amethyst & Diamond Pansy Flower Earrings

For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold earrings with carved amethyst flowers with diamond accents.  These sweet earrings are beautifully hand-crafted.  The delicate flowers resemble the purple pansies of early spring, with three dimensional petals and engraved details.  The amethysts are semi-translucent with rich, glowing purple color.  The amethysts appear darker in dim light, and lighter in bright light.  A small diamond is securely prong-set at the top of each flower.  Unlike many similar carved flower earrings which are glued to the gold backing, these amethysts are held firmly by a gold bead that pierces and secures each gemstone to the stud backing.  These glowing earrings combine quality and elegance with a wonderfully tropical, exotic feel.
