For sale is a 10k yellow rose gold crescent moon pendant with inlaid Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz and an accent diamond star. I had my jeweler convert this pendant from a small antique pin so it would be worn and enjoyed. This beautiful and unusual pendant features Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz, a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today. It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it. This pendant features three pieces of gold quartz that are inlaid to form the shape of a crescent moon. Each piece of gold quartz is carefully inlaid in the gold setting. The two quartz pieces in the horns of the moon are creamy white, and the central piece has a slightly more gray tone. All three pieces display veins and flakes of 24k gold ore. The pendant also features a gold star set inside the crescent moon. A sparkly rose-cut diamond is invisibly set at the center of the tiny star. The pendant is completely backed in solid gold. The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.
