10k Gold & Silver Alaskan Gold in Quartz 24k Vein Ore Ring. 1"

For sale is a sterling silver and 10k yellow gold ring with Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  This ring is unusual.  Most of the gemstone is cream-colored quartz with a complex web of extremely tiny 24k gold veins covering 75% of the surface. The bottom third of the stone is silver-qray quartz that is slightly translucent.  The gemstone is a slightly domed oval, and is secure in an hand-crafted bezel setting with milgrain edging.  The mounting is decorated with yellow gold grape leaves and rose gold grapes in a raised design. This elegant ring could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.  

***This gold in quartz is more subtle than most I have sold in the past.  The gold veins are as fine as spiderwebbing, and are not very visible in dim light.  The gold is not as visible and eye-catching because the gold veins are so tiny.
