10k Gold Rose-Cut Amethyst DOG Watch Key Fob Pendant. Victorian

For sale is a 10k yellow gold watch key fob pendant with a rose-cut amethyst gem end and a hunting dog figure.  This Victorian antique was created as a watch key.  The key was crafted with exquisite detail.  The key is intricately decorated on all sides.  The dog sits at attention, her head turned backwards as if listening for her master's call.  Her facial features, ears, haunches, tail, and her elaborate collar are all carefully rendered.  The dog sits on a barrel shaped segment of the watch key that is decorated with an intricate raised pattern of baroque swirls and scrolls.  Again, this pattern has been engraved on all sides of the watch key.  The gem end of the watch key is set with a pale lavender amethyst with kaleidoscopic facet-work.  The amethyst is bezel set and edged with raised gold scroll-work.  The pendant has a jump ring bail to accommodate your chain. It would be attractive worn by a man or a woman. 

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
