14k Gold Blue Sapphire Cabochon Ring w Rose-Cut Diamond Halo

For sale is a 14k yellow gold ring with a natural blue sapphire cabochon and a diamond halo.  This antique ring is beautifully crafted with amazing detail.  The sapphire is a domed cabochon in a rich shade of midnight blue.  The sapphire is navy blue in dim light, but flashes with ceylon highlights in bright light or sunshine.  The sapphire is securely bezel set and surrounded by a double halo of bezel set diamonds.  The diamonds are old fashioned rose-cut gemstones.  The gemstones are set on a round disk of gold that is decorated on the sides with gold Bali beads.  The shoulders of the ring have an engraved double teardrop pattern.  This ring is currently very small, and can be resized by your jeweler.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
