10k Rolled Gold Emerson Heart MEMENTO Bubble Pendant. Opens! 1.5"

For sale is an antique Emerson 10k yellow rolled gold heart pendant with a bubble window for your mementos.  This pendant originally housed a watch, and I had my jeweler remove it to create a space for trinkets and photos. The pendant does not open and close easily like a locket, but you can lift off the back circle to place small items inside the glass bubble.  The pendant is quite large but is not too heavy to wear comfortably.  The pendant is stamped "10k RG" for rolled gold.  Rolled gold was a term used in the previous century.  Rolled gold is similar to gold-fill, and generally requires a larger percentage of gold compared to gold plated jewelry.  This vintage piece is fun to wear and a wonderful way to enjoy little mementos!

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
