Cherry Red Mexican Fire Opal Ring in Silver. Old Pawn Squashblossom

For sale is a Mexican fire opal ring in a sterling silver squash-blossom setting.  This large, oval opal has exceptional color and fire.  The opal is a glowing cherry red with wonderful translucence.  The opal flashes with purple, fuchsia, peacock blue, cherry red and lime as you move it in the sunlight.  The opal has an internal line across the middle, which may be a natural inclusion. The line is not tangible from the surface of the stone, and the stone is not broken.  The opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The ring has an intricate silver frame with an old-pawn squash-blossom design.  This glowing opal would be stunning worn by a man or a woman.
