For sale is an Australian opal pendant carved with lovebirds.  This large opal is shaped like a vase or urn, with handles on each side and a lid on top.  The front of the opal has been delicately hand-carved with two birds.  The lovebirds incline their beaks affectionately together.  The white, semi-transparent opal is subtle in dim light, and comes to life in sunlight or bright indoor light.  As you move the opal in the light you will see neon shades of lime green and tangerine wash over the surface of the opal.  You will also catch tiny flashes of blue, purple and fuchsia fire. The opal has a gold-tone silver bail to accommodate your chain.  This is such an unusual, elegant, and beautifully crafted pendant!
