Blue Star Sapphire (Lab-Created) Triple Navette Ring. 1940s *Video*

For sale is a blue synthetic "star sapphire" ring, made in China in the 1940s. Although rare, this is my very favorite form of man-made star sapphire. Where Lindy star sapphires are opaque, this type of star sapphire has the same translucence you see in a natural star sapphire.

The three oval cabochons are a stunning shade of ceylon blue with gorgeous many-rayed stars even in dim light. Each gem is securely held and protected in a bezel-setting. The ring itself is a work of art. The original owner purchased this ring in China in the 1940s and the ring has a gorgeous design with vibrant blue enameled butterflies on each shoulder.

This ring is exceptionally beautiful and well-crafted. The band of the ring is adjustable by your jeweler. You will not likely see another ring like this in this lifetime.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
