For sale is a pair of Australian Purple Opal Triplet Earrings. Each earring features six Australian opal triplet in lovely shades of purple, lavender, blue-green and periwinkle. Triplet opals are created from placing a layer of Australian opal over a darker stone (often onyx) to deepen the colors, and placing a layer of clear quartz on top of the opal to protect the opal from damage. The results are often stunning, as with these earrings. The opals dangle from french wires. These are wonderful opal earrings with a cool "old-pawn" style.
The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
