The star is the lovely rectangular natural boulder opal, where brilliant opalescence emerges directly from the reddish-brown matrix. As the stone moves in the light, sparkling fuchsia, violet and rich purple fire dances across its surface, creating a beautiful contrast with the warm natural boulder beneath.

The opal is held securely in a hand-crafted silver bezel and surrounded by a wonderfully dimensional frame. Large silver Bali-style beads accent all four sides of the stone, giving this petite pendant plenty of presence and a slightly bohemian, old-world character.
