Australian Opals in Int'l Silver Co Indian Head Spoon Pendant. 2" *Video*

For sale is a sterling silver pendant set with Australian opals. This pendant was crafted from the handle of an antique spoon with a raised floral design. It was designed by the International Silver Company, which used a stamp of an Indian head with a single feather on their Meriden Britannia Sterling pieces after 1898 up till 1930's.

The pendant has the shape of a large key. Both sides of the pendant have a similar elaborate raised floral design with large showy blossoms on full bloom. To my eye, the flowers look like antique roses with lovely serrated leaves.

Two oval opals are set along the narrow part of the key. The opals are milky and semi-translucent. The opals are subtle in dim light, and each opal flashes with cherry, red, green, blue, and orange fire in the sunlight. 

This is a lovely large opal pendant with a wonderful handcrafted antique feel. It has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.
