Australian Opal Love KNOT Leverback Dangle Drop Earrings. Gold-Tone Silver

For sale is a pair of gold tone sterling silver love knot earrings with natural Australian opals. These unusual earrings are large and beautifully crafted.  Each earring features a large, curved, three-dimensional knot in gold tone silver. The knot has a small round opal at its center and four small round pearls decorate the knot itself.  These small opals flash blue and green. 

The larger oval opals that dangle below are old-fashioned white opals.  They flash with colorful pinfire in red, yellow, lime, and tangerine.  Each gemstone is secure in a bezel setting.  These earrings are suspended from leverbacks that close securely.  They have a large presence and a wonderful old-world Victorian romantic style.  They would be stunning with a formal gown or party dress, and could also be worn more casually.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
