For sale is a sterling silver Art Nouveau ring with a natural Australian opal. The large, oval opal is subtle in dim light, but it flashes with flashy neon colors in sunlight or bright artificial light. You will see lots of lime green and tangerine fire as well as pinpricks of sky blue, purple and red.
The large oval opal is securely bezel set in a hand-crafted mounting. The opal is framed by large curving grape leaves and vines on both sides and graduated silver "grapes" (Bali beads) on the top and bottom. This sturdy ring has a split triple shank that joins together at the back.
This ring combines the otherworldly beauty of a good quality opal with the old-world craftsmanship and elegant style of an Art Nouveau antique. Gorgeous! It can be easily resized by your jeweler.
