Australian Opal Doublet Ring in Sterling Silver. 1"+ 9g *Video*

For sale is a very large Australian opal doublet ring in a sterling silver hand-crafted setting.  The opal is backed in silver and has a clear quartz layer on top. The ring features a large teardrop-shaped opal that is unusual and quite moody. In dim light the opal is subtle, and in bright light you will see pinfire flashes of purple, lime green, sky blue and cherry red fire.

The opal is set in a partial bezel that is hand-crafted to exactly fit the gemstone. The opal is framed in silver with a scalloped edge design like flower petals. This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted ring with a lovely, large opal.  It can be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.

**The quartz layer that tops the opal has a feather line crack. Please see magnified photos for the most accurate view. In general the ring shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
