Australian Opal Doublet "BUBBLE" Pendant in 925. 1" & 6g **VIDEO***_21_290

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with an Australian Opal Doublet. This large opal is full of color and fire.  I love these antique "bubble" opals! The opal is NOT backed with onyx, but is capped with a clear quartz dome.  The translucent quartz "bubble" magnifies and exaggerates the opal's vibrant colors and iridescent fire.  This type of opal has a mystical "crystal ball" appearance, with ethereal, ever-changing, swirling opalescence.  This translucent milky opal flashes with cherry red, tangerine, lime, and yellow in some lights, then switches to peacock blue, lime and tangerine as you move it in the light.  This opal is more subtle in dim light, and catches fire in the sunlight or bright indoor light.  The opal is bezel set and backed in silver.  It has a large jump ring bail to accommodate your chain.  This pendant would be attractive worn by a man or a woman.
