Australian Koroit Boulder Opal Ring in 925. Large 1" **VIDEO**

For sale is an Australian Koroit boulder opal ring in sterling silver.  This ring is exceptionally large with an unusual pattern of color.  The opal was mined in the Koroit opal fields in Queensland, Australia.  Each Koroit opal is characterized by a unique and intricate web of colorful veins that run through its matrix.  This opal is a large irregular oval, with chocolate brown matrix (or boulder).  The brown matrix is richly veined with vibrant opal streaks.  The opal displays three patterns of color.  First is a large streak of lime green that flows north-south through several veins in the matrix.  The second is a vibrant section of purple and royal blue color that flashes inside the lime green opalescence.  Finally, the ring displays a bright patch of cherry red fire to one side of the lime green river.  The opal is quite stunning in the sunlight.  The opal is secure in a hand-crafted crown setting, with zig-zag edging.  The ring has a split shank band that comes together at the back.  This ring is currently a large size, and can be sized down or up by your jeweler.  It would also be a simple job for your jeweler to transform it into a pendant if you prefer.  Stunning for either a woman or a man.
