Australian Koroit Boulder Opal Modernist Double Ring in Sterling Silver

For sale is a modern style Australian Koroit boulder opal ring in sterling silver. The two opals are set side-by side, giving the ring a modernist style. The two opals were mined in the Koroit opal fields in Queensland, Australia.

Each opal is characterized by an intricate web of vibrant lime green, blue, teal, and purple veins that run through its chocolate brown matrix (or boulder). Each egg-shaped, domed opal has an unusual and lovely pattern of colorful veins that spiderweb through the matrix.

Each opal is secure in a hand-crafted silver bezel setting. The matrix of each opal is visible from the inside of the ring. The ring has a simple square band. This unusual, artisan-made ring is a rare find. You will never see another like it!

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
