Australian Crystal Jelly Opal Necklace in 925. Antique**VIDEO***

For sale is an antique Australian jelly opal necklace in sterling silver.  This unusual Arts and Crafts era necklace features translucent opals that flash with lovely pinpricks of colorful fire.  In dim light the opals appear clear, like moonstones.  In bright indoor light or sunlight the opals catch fire with tiny rainbows of opalescence that move throughout the interior of each gemstone.  Each opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel-setting.  The opals in this antique piece show some signs of wear, and have scuffs and light scratches on the surface.  Some of the smaller opals are less transparent Australian white opals.  This antique necklace has a magical, otherworldly look, like something made for you by the elves or fairies.  It is so versatile and can be worn with almost anything you chose to put on.  The necklace fastens with a large silver spring ring clasp.  I have never seen another opal necklace similar to this one.  If this necklace speaks to you, please make sure to listen!
