Australian Boulder Opal Slide Pendant w 925 Chain Necklace. Rainbow Color

For sale is an Australian Boulder opal slide pendant with a 925 silver chain.  The opal is extremely colorful and vibrant. It flashes with red, orange and yellows, as well as purples, blues and greens s its is shifted in the light.  This opal is moody, and displays a subtle wash of colors in dim light.  Its true vibrance and fire only shows itself in sunshine or bright indoor light.   The dark brown boulder (stone from which the opal was mined) is visible from the back of the pendant.  The opal has an internal inclusion which appears as light "crackling" lines just under the surface of the stone.  The opal is secure in a bezel setting, completely framed in silver.  The pendant itself is a domed tear-drop shape attached to a silver curved tube which serves as the bail for the chain.  This is an elegant and well-crafted opal pendant.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
