For sale is a stunning Australian boulder opal ring in sterling silver. This one of a kind ring features an exceptionally colorful and vibrant opal. The opal is an oval going east-west. On one side, the opal forms a pool of semi-translucent luminescence in shades of green and blue with the ephemeral iridescence of a butterfly wing. The other side of the opal has vibrant midnight blue and purple opalescence that forms rivers through the chocolate brown matrix. The opal is held securely in a hand-crafted bezel setting inside a recessed frame. The ring is beautifully crafted with recessed design, with Scottish thistles in a raised silver on both of the wide shoulders of the ring. This is a large and impressive ring with a one of a kind boulder opal.
