For sale is an Australian boulder opal pendant in 925 sterling silver.  The pendant features a large tear-drop shaped opal with dark brown matrix.  The opal has veins of fire and color running through the brown boulder.  The primary colors are neon green and vivid purple-blue.  But the opal also has flashes of red, violet, fuchshia, orange and yellow.  The opal is large and "moody."  Its' fire is quite subtle in dim light, but in bright sunshine or bright indoor lighting it springs to life with flash and fire.  The opal has a natural indentation in the surface of the matrix that does not compromise the integrity of the stone (see photos.) The opal is secure in a silver bezel setting.  The mounting mirrors the shape of the opal, and is pierced around the stone.  The pendant has a large built-in bail (or slide) to accommodate your chain.  This is a large, colorful boulder opal pendant.  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
