For sale is an Australian boulder opal pendant in sterling silver. This is a large opal with lovely ocean colors. It shimmers with myriad shades of blue and green. The right side of the opal glimmers in luminescent teal.
A band of deep purple-blue shimmers to the left and a small pool of neon sky-blue holds court in the lower left corner. The opal has black matrix, which appears in an archepelago at the center of the stone. The opal is securely bezel-set in a hand-crafted silver frame with a rounded triangle shape.
This is a simple pendant that foregrounds the natural beauty of the gemstone. It has the calming, cool, ever-shifting beauty of a quiet ocean on a calm day. It could be worn beautifully by a man or a woman.
