For sale is an Australian black opal triplet pendant in sterling silver. This opal is subtle in dim light but flashes with splashy washes of color in sunlight or bright light. This opal displays vibrant, fiery hot red, fuchsia, orange and yellow fire, switching to cooler lime green, teal and peacock blue as you move it in the light.
In sunlight, the fire in this opal reminds me of the swirling, otherworldly colors impressionist watercolor paintings. The opal is a triplet, with a dark stone backing and a smooth quartz layer covering the opal. The opal is bezel-set in silver and set inside a horseshoe shaped silver frame.
This is a slide style pendant, and the horseshoe has openings on both edges to accommodate your chain.

**the clear quartz layer has a small chip towards the bottom. This is visible with magnification but hard to see with the naked eye. I have circled it in a magnified photo (last one) so you can see it clearly.
