For sale is an Australian black opal ring in sterling silver.  This opal is translucent with a black base color.  In dim light the opal displays subtle flashes of fire.  In sunlight or bright light, however, the opal flashes with magnificent colorful fire.  As you move it in the light the opal glows with rich purple, peacock blue, cherry red, green and orange fire.  The opal a domed oval, and is bezel-set in silver.  The opal sits at the center of a double-looping swirl of silver.  The opal is backed in silver, and the back of the opal is visible through a small opening in the silver.  This ring has a large presence due to its size and vivid colors.  It is great fun to wear.
