Australian Black Boulder Opal Turtle Pendant. Purple *VIDEO*

For sale is a silver turtle pendant with an Australian black boulder opal.  This opal was mined in the Andamooka opal mines in South Australia. This type of opal is composed of black matrix (or boulder) with sparkling points of opalescence that flash over the surface of the stone.  The opal is quite subtle in dim light, but flashes with rich shades of purple and vibrant peacock blue in sunlight or bright indoor light.  The matrix (boulder) has the rich, peat-brown color of fine dark chocolate. The opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The opal is visible from the under-side of the pendant.  The hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind silver turtle is beautifully carved with a sleek, stylized design.  The turtle has a hidden bail beneath her head.  She would be wonderful to wear around your neck as a pendant.  She is also a lovely companion to carry in your pocket, or to keep you company on your desk or nightstand.
